Ivan Gantschev
Ivan Ganstchev

Ivan Gantschev was born in Bulgaria in 1925. After surviving World War II, he worked as an artist. In 1966, he emigrated to Germany, where he lives today. His prize-winning works have been shown in galleries all over the world. Several of his books have been published by North-South Books Inc. He says he illustrates picture books because he wants to show children that it’s possible to solve problems peacefully—besides, it’s a lot of fun!
