Lilijana Praprotnik Zupancic (Lila Prap) was born in 1955 and is one of the most popular author/illustrators not only in Slovenia but increasingly in the rest of the world. She loves to draw animals and was a nominee for the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Illustration. Her books include Animals Speak and Animal Lullabies and the forthcoming Daddies.
