Bernadette Watts

Born in England in 1942, Bernadette Watts loved to draw from her childhood and her first picture book that she drew under the influence of Beatrix Potter still exists. She studied at the Maidstone Art School in Kent, partly under the tuition of Brian Wildsmith and has been producing a great number of illutrations over the last 40 years, many of which are published by North-South Books. Bernadette lives in Kent, England.
